1. an afternoon traveling the silk road, hearing folk tales in samarkand, tracing glass-work in baghad, studying the swirls of old ink letters and the angles of an astrolabe.
2. this poem, flipped to at random in a gift store book, which starts your grief for what you’ve lost lifts a mirror / up to where you are bravely working ...
3. a moon so full and bright it stains the clouds around it.
one good thing about myself: i put together a cute outfit, a long ruffled blue skirt and a black knit top.
