1. lucian of samosta's dialogues, which remind me of nothing so much as homeric fanfiction.
2. the chapter on the dash in shady characters: the secret life of punctuation, symbols & other typographical marks, which is 'not so much a solo artist as a quartet where each member wears the same suit but plays a different instrument.'
3. a display on black comic book heroes at the denver public library.
thing i like about myself: our coordinator thanked me for coming in today, even though the weather was cold and i had a longer commute than anyone -- that made me feel pretty good.
