three good things:
1. the final, oddly reassuring, moral of the 52nd episode of welcome to night vale: losing your role in life, losing your usefulness, isn't the same as losing yourself. because there is no continuous arc of self, only stutter-stop improvisation -- but you can still be you, you can still be human.
2. the beaming smile of a boy who, when i asked him whether he was enjoying the museum, said he was there with his mama and his auntie as though that was more exciting than dinosaurs.
3. blue flowers and butterflies adorning a tiny notebook.
one good thing about myself: yesterday was a low day, but i can have low days. i can have highs and lows and improvise a story of myself from them.
