1. more 80 days -- the story of a bengali bhadrolok and scholar turned revolutionary, the sweep of wings automaton and animal over haiti, and a shameless pun.
2. a ring of turquoise howlite, like a charm against grief.
3. my friendships. i'm so lucky in my friendships.
one good thing about myself: more kidlets talked to me at ticket-taking today, showing me their prized stones and stuffed animals, sharing their wonderings and imaginings, and they shouted 'goodbye!' to me at the end of their day. my co-worker said 'they love you!' with a kind of giddy surprise, and i felt very glad to be who and where i was.
